Cancer Campaigner’s Whopping Pounds 2,350!

A dedicated charity campaigner held her final coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Marion Hubbard, 66, has been hosting the event for many years. But this year will be her last due to ill health.
Her final event was held at her home in Cardiff Road, Hawthorn, on September 28, where an impressive pounds 2,350 was raised.
She said: “Without my friends who helped make cakes, provided raffle prizes and sold coffee and cakes, not forgetting the girls who washed up, I would not have been able to do it.”
