Health Net Sponsors Behavioral Health Provider Day at Fort Drum, NY

Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS), the government operations division of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), announced its sponsorship of the Behavioral Health Provider Day being held today at Fort Drum, in collaboration with Fort Drum's U.S. Army Medical Department Activity, Jefferson County Community Services and Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization (FDRHPO).
The event invites medical providers from the community to visit Fort Drum and learn about the unique challenges military personnel face and the important role community providers play in optimizing the military's health care system. Approximately 75 providers will be educated on combat situations faced by military personnel and the potential accompanying injuries, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury. Providers also will tour the Battle Simulation Center, Medical Simulation Training Center, Engagement Skills Training Center and Virtual Combat Convoy Training.

Provider tours will take place from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., followed by a dinner and briefings.
