Extra Hospices Funds Welcomed By Charity

Campaign group Dignity in Dying has welcomed Health Minister Edwina Hart’s decision to increase funding for hospices in Wales. The AM made a commitment to increase the funding in the coming year and agreed to review holistic care for patients.
Nick Moore, chairman of Dignity in Dying, said: “This is a very welcome step but it’s important to recognise there is still more that needs to be done to ensure that those who need it have access to good quality care.”
