Cheryl in Drug Blast at Doherty
By FIONA MAY
GIRLS Aloud have hit out at Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse for making kids think it was cool to take hard drugs.
Cheryl Cole, 24, claimed youngsters got the wrong idea when they saw images of the stars with needle marks in their arms.
She added: “It’s not f***ing funny. The pictures are horrifying but teenagers don’t see it like that.
“They think the celebrities are having a wild time living this amazing life.”
Her bandmate Nicola Roberts labelled recent rehab patient Pete a “p****”.
The girls were speaking out in a bid to end the heroin-chic culture.
But Cheryl also said she wanted to end her feud with Charlotte Church, 21.
She added: “I’m gutted about it. It spiralled out of control. I actually really like Charlotte.”
