SinoFresh HealthCare Teams Up With National Starch and Chemical Company, Targets New Product Launch for 2008

Posted on: Monday, 29 October 2007, 12:00 CDT

SinoFresh HealthCare, Inc. (OTCBB: SFSH) announced today that it has entered into a non-binding Letter-of-Intent with National Starch and Chemical Company to develop new and improved versions of popular allergy-related OTC medicines. The Company is targeting the new formulations to be launched in March 2008 in time for the spring and summer allergy season.

The new products are expected to have a number of advantages over current products available, including new ingredients that help to alleviate allergy symptoms at a much quicker rate, ease-of-use features that fit on-the-go lifestyles, and easier to follow patient instructions.

The first new product by SinoFresh seeks to eliminate symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and itchy, watery eyes. The second product targets the relief of sinus pressure and nasal congestion. Both products utilize National Starch's proprietary patented PROLOC(TM) bio-adhesive technology to deliver the drug formulations.

Until now, SinoFresh has typically focused on the Chronic Sinusitis market. SinoFresh believes entering the allergy market with new and improved patent protected products adds significant market advantages to SinoFresh according to Charles Fust, CEO, SinoFresh HealthCare, Inc. "In the United States, our current nasal spray has been aimed at helping the 37 million people who suffer from Chronic Sinusitis. By developing new and improved allergy-related formulations, we expect to help an additional 50 million people who suffer from allergies. We believe an alliance with National Starch and Chemical makes it possible for us to capitalize on this enormous opportunity," said Fust.

Bill Wilferth, Chief Operating Officer, stated, "We listened to a lot of consumer feedback from allergy sufferers and incorporated that marketing data into an updated research strategy for new products that we feel will make an impact with both retail outlets and consumers."

Michael Trisch, Global Business Manager for National Starch and Chemical Company, states, "We look forward to working with SinoFresh and establishing our new PROLOC(TM) bio-adhesive technology in the allergy segment."
