St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles Honored With Premier Award
SSM St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles has been honored with the 2007 Premier CareScience Select Practice National Quality Award for superior patient outcomes in quality and efficiency. St. Joseph Health Center is one of 49 hospitals nationally recognized with the award. The hospitals cannot apply for the award. The Health Center was identified as a top performer in quality and efficiency among all acute care facilities in the Medicare Provider Analysis and Review 2005 data. In July, the Health Center was named a 2007 recipient of the Premier Award for Quality in the area of acute myocardial infarction, or heart attack.
