WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Netsmart Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-wide software and services for health and human services organizations, today announced it has signed an agreement to implement its public health software and provide related services to the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion (DHWP). The announcement was made at the American Public Health Association's 135th Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C.
More than 200 DHWP staff will utilize Netsmart's Insight public health software to facilitate a wide range of clinical and operational processes, including electronic medical record (EMR), case management, encounter processing, laboratory management, disease management, epidemiology, and billing.
