Priority Health is ranked as one of "America's Best Health Plans," according to the November 5 issue of U.S. News & World Report. Priority Health ranks 11th in the nation's top 250 commercial health plans, according to the list, which was created in collaboration with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to report nationally on health plan performance.
"Priority Health's top ranking demonstrates that we're improving the quality of health for the communities we serve," said Kimberly K. Horn, president and CEO of Priority Health. "Our success is the result of a shared vision and collaborative effort between employers and physicians, throughout Michigan, and Priority Health."
The U.S. News & World Report article, "America's Best Health Plans" is available online at www.usnews.com/healthplans. As described in the article, the NCQA ranks health plans based on performance in access to care, overall member satisfaction, effective delivery of preventive services, and treatment.
