Cirrus Health Appoints David Koford Vice President of Managed Care Contracting

Cirrus Health, a Dallas-based health services organization, announced today the appointment of David Koford as Vice President of Managed Care Contracting. Koford will be responsible for the leadership of the managed care contracting team and will oversee managed care contracting, business services and revenue cycle management. Koford reports directly to Cirrus Health Chief Financial Officer, Wayne Sparks.
"Meticulous oversight of the managed care and revenue cycle operations is critical to the success of healthcare facilities," stated Tim Parris, Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus Health. "Dave's expertise in the managed care field is a tremendous asset to our managed care and revenue cycle team and will assist our continued efforts in supporting our facilities operations."
Koford most recently served as Regional Director of Managed Care at Community Health Services (formerly Triad Hospitals) where he was responsible for the development of managed care strategies and budgets for 15 hospital markets. Additionally, he negotiated and managed the payor relationships for over 275 contracts and directed the activities of four field managed care and administrative staff. Koford served as Director of Managed Care at Northwest Health System in Tucson, Arizona before joining the Triad Corporate Office. He was responsible for all managed care contracting and payor relations.
Koford received his Masters of Health Administration and Bachelors of Science (Psychology) from Brigham Young University Provo, Utah.
