NHS to Pay Up

CANCER sufferers in the North East are celebrating after a drug was given the green light to be available on the NHS.
Tarceva, also known as Erlotinib, will provide hope to people suffering from lung cancer but unable to afford its high costs.
The decision, by the North East and Cumbria Cancer Drug Approvals Group, comes after a reduction in the cost of the drug.
