Czech Babies Back With Right Parents

Two babies sent home from a Czech hospital with the wrong parents nearly a year ago have been reunited with the right families.
The two infant girls were born last Dec. 9 in Trebic and were raised by the wrong parents for some nine months before the mistake was realized.
The BBC said Tuesday DNA tests were needed to sort out the error, and the two sets of parents went through intensive counseling before this week’s reunification.
Officials had planned to make the trade at the end of the year. However, child psychologists said the children, named Veronika and Nikola, would be better off joining their true parents as early as possible.
