In the Dancing Mood ; Dancers Whirl into Holiday Spirit

MISHAWAKA -- Peek inside the storefronts along Lincoln Way East near Church Street and you'll see them dancing on the hardwoods.
Last Friday, people from throughout Michiana celebrated Christmas with a cha-cha, waltz and other dances at Dance the Night Away, the newly relocated dance hall.
Halana Hattery, owner, offers her students the opportunity to practice their lessons at weekly dance parties.
Last Friday, a group gathered for a Christmas party. Other regular dance parties are scheduled throughout the year, Hattery said.
From dancers who compete to beginners, music and mood lighting put many of those in attendance in the mood -- to dance the night away.
