U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group, California's largest provider of outpatient occupational health care services, today announced the acquisition of Inland Industrial Medical Group at 1910 S. Archibald Avenue, Suite.E2, Ontario, California.
Like its U.S. HealthWorks counterparts, the Inland Industrial center offers employers comprehensive occupational health care, which includes injury and illness diagnosis and treatment, pre-placement and post-offer physical exams, drug and alcohol testing, physical therapy and orthopedic services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. It was completed November 30.
U.S. HealthWorks now operates 59 occupational medical centers in California.
"We're pleased to provide clients of Inland Industrial convenient access to multiple U.S. HealthWorks locations, especially in the Ontario area where there are currently two existing U.S. HealthWorks medical centers that are open 24/7," said Therese Hernandez, Senior Vice President and General Manager of U.S. HealthWorks in California. "The addition of Dr. Smith to our professional medical staff is also a valuable benefit to our U.S. HealthWorks clients in the Ontario area."
"I look forward to being part of U.S. HealthWorks and continuing their legacy of providing quality medical care to the business community," said Dr. Carl Smith of Inland Industrial Medical Group. "I'm very optimistic about this merger and the benefits it will bring to existing clients of Inland Industrial and U.S. HealthWorks alike."
