Integrative Health Technologies, Inc. (IHTI) Asks Employers, Healthcare Providers and Individuals to Participate in the Evaluation of Its On-Line Wellness Program
Posted on: Tuesday, 11 December 2007, 15:00 CST
Last week, Integrative Health Technologies (IHTI) (OTCBB:IHTI) announced its study to evaluate the effectiveness and the return-on-investment of its on-line wellness program. The program is designed around a simple, but proven, behavior modification principle -- "what gets measured and tracked, gets managed and changed." The program costs only $2.95 each month per employee, patient or individual, paid on a month-to-month basis. A one-time cost of $30.00 for a pedometer-based physical activity kit is optional, but strongly recommended.
Previous research reported participation in the program led to healthier cholesterol levels, reduced body fat, increased work load productivity, lowered medical claims, reduced unscheduled days off, and reduced pharmaceutical costs. While IHTI cannot validate the magnitude of these findings, many of the program features have been validated in clinical trials by the Company's scientists over the past 30 years.
IHTI invites investors and shareholders to learn first-hand about the Company's services and products by participating in this evaluation study. Employers are encouraged to enroll their employees to examine the extent to which the program reduces the healthcare costs that have been reported in other studies. Healthcare providers are asked to encourage their patients to enroll to support treatment plans with wellness tracking information and a practical diet/exercise program. For more information, or to enroll, call IHTI at 210-824-4200.
Employers and healthcare providers in the San Antonio, Houston, and Phoenix areas are encouraged to inquire about the executive wellness option available in these areas. This option is described on the Company's website (www.ihtglobal.com) under the "Employee/Patient Wellness Program" icon.
IHTI serves the healthcare and nutritional industry providing:
(1) consulting and research and development of health-enhancing products and technologies,
(2) on-site employee-medical patient wellness programs and state-of-the-art biometric testing, and
(3) independent clinical trials validating the safety and efficacy of health-enhancing products.
Forward-Looking Statement: Although this release does not make forward-looking public statements concerning the Company's expected future operations, performance or other developments, one should be cautious in interpreting the health benefits of the on-line tracking program until we've evaluated them in our own research.
