Life Time Fitness to Bring Large, Category Redefining Health and Fitness Center to Cinco Ranch, Texas

State-of-the-Art Facility to Deliver Unparalleled 24-Hour Sports, Professional Fitness, Family Recreation and Resort/Spa Experience

Life Time Fitness, Inc. (NYSE:LTM), a national operator of large and distinctive health and fitness centers, today announced plans to open a new, state-of-the-art sports and athletics, professional fitness, family recreation and resort/spa center in Cinco Ranch, Texas. The new facility will mark the Company's third large, category-redefining center in the Houston market. Other Houston-based Life Time Fitness locations include Willowbrook and Sugar Land, both of which opened in 2004.

Life Time Fitness officials commented on what will be the Company's 41st Life Time Fitness location nationally and the eighth in Texas. "Our continued expansion in Texas is indicative of the strong consumer demand for our large, unique centers and comprehensive programs designed for all ages and fitness levels," said Mike Brown, senior vice president, Operations, Life Time Fitness. "As with all Life Time Fitness centers, the new Cinco Ranch location is uniquely designed to meet the health and fitness needs of the entire family. The 109,000 square foot Cinco Ranch center will offer 24-hour access to more than 400 pieces of state-of-the-art cardiovascular, resistance and free-weight training equipment, along with a multitude of amenities, including several group fitness studios with free classes, a team of certified personal trainers and programming, a wide selection of adult and youth programs and activities, rock climbing walls, multiple basketball, squash and racquetball courts, and luxurious locker room areas offering free towels and lockers.

The facility also will feature large indoor/outdoor aquatics centers, offering multiple two-story waterslides, two large, zero-depth recreation pools, a lap pool and children's interactive play area, two whirlpools, steam rooms and a dry sauna.

Families will appreciate Life Time Fitness' large child center, featuring free childcare, a play maze, computer lab, separate infant playroom, and numerous children's activities. Dedicated family locker rooms also will be available.

Adding to the new center's resort-like experience, members will be able to take advantage of LifeSpa, which offers a full range of hair, nail and skin care services, and therapeutic massage, and LifeCafe, which provides the best in nutritional food and beverage services.
