Alzheimer's Foundation of America Partners With AGIS for New Online Resource to Help Millions of Americans Caring for Loved Ones With Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia

As the foremost online resource for family caregivers, AGIS is proud to announce their new Alzheimer's and Dementia caregivers section, created in partnership with the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA). AGIS' new free resource provides comprehensive online support for individuals caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The new Alzheimer's and Dementia section intuitively fuses an inclusive array of resources, tools, advice and support to enable caregivers to make the best care decisions with their loved ones.

AGIS brings together expert information, perspectives and resources for caregivers facing the unique challenges of caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The new section provides detailed medical and research information, warning signs, current treatment options and an Ask the Expert area with answers from AFA's team of licensed social workers. The site offers in-depth solutions for distinct issues facing Alzheimer's disease and dementia caregivers, including difficult behaviors like wandering and sundowning, communication, daily care activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and toileting, home safety, hospital stays, and relocation. Caregivers will also benefit from the local search feature that gives them access to specialized resources and facilities in their own communities.
