My Treatment Was Superb

Repost This

I have been saddened to read and hear of Wellington Hospital’s woes and of some patients’ ghastly experiences. I’ve recently come under the auspices of the oncology department there and do not think I could have received better treatment had I paid a king’s ransom.

My condition has been thoroughly explained, my questions answered with complete honesty, possible alternative treatments fully explored and all by experts who seemed not to hurry and gave me their full attention.

The whole system, from booking arrangements through nursing staff to specialist doctors, has been first rate.

Maybe other sections of the hospital have not met this high standard but surely we must give credit where it is due. I am sure there are many other parts of the hospital where staff, often poorly paid for the onerous and responsible work they do, provide the very best service to what must be, on the whole, a very grateful public.
