BRIEF: Acupuncturist is Official Provider

Dec. 30–Nancy Moore, a licensed acupuncturist, has become an official provider for a number of state and national insurance companies.

Moore, at 1050 Larrabee Ave., No. 206, in Fairhaven, is now a participating and preferred provider for Premera Blue Cross/Blue Shield (including Life Wise of Washington, Health Plus, Dimensions, MSC Traditional, Preferred, MSC Care and MSC Prime Care), Uniform Medical, Aetna, Cigna and Reliant PS.

Moore has a master’s degree from the New England School of Acupuncture and is a nationally certified massage therapist.

Her specialty areas include pain management and resolution; women’s health; jaw, head, neck, shoulder, and low back pain; and gastrointestinal disorders, particularly celiac disease.
