PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Vigilan announced today that Dr. Geoffrey J. Bunza, the company's VP of Engineering & Operations, has been appointed by the American Health Care Association to serve a two-year term on the Health Information Technology (HIT) Committee. "His extensive knowledge in operational management will aid in paring the right solutions with appropriate financial assistance for a wide array of facilities nationwide."
The National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has estimated that the health care system will save an estimated $140 billion per year if health information technology is adopted.
