Coventry Health Care to Provide Retiree Health Benefits to PEBTF

Coventry Health Care has been selected by the Pennsylvania Employee Benefit Trust Fund to provide health insurance to approximately 50,000 of its retirees through a Medicare Advantage Private-Fee-for-Service plan effective April 1, 2008.
Under the customized retiree benefit plan, comprehensive medical coverage will be offered with network freedom along with access to a 24-hour nurse line, clinical programs, and wellness programs. The retiree benefit plan also will offer free health risk assessments, social worker support and targeted support for those with serious medical needs.
