National House Care, Inc. (NHC) is a for-profit company that generates socially responsible results through services that enhance both the social and economic situation for our growing senior (baby boomer) population. National House Care, Inc. provides "House Care" which is defined as comprehensive home maintenance, repair, modification and coordination of ancillary house services. Typical services range from performing minor repair tasks to assuming 100% of House Care responsibilities for extended periods of time. These services can help preserve the value of a real estate asset, whether it is a primary residence, rental property, or vacation home. NHC provides House Care services to homeowners of all ages, capitalizing on the trend toward increased outsourcing of maintenance and repair by the homeowners of over 100 million homes in the United States.
National House Care places a special emphasis on the senior market. Geographically dispersed families, increasing home ownership by seniors, and a growing senior population, due to longevity and the demographics of the baby boomer generation, create a situation where more aging homeowners need assistance with home maintenance and repairs. NHC provides homeowners, as well as the adult children and relatives of aging homeowners, the convenience of coordinating House Care through a single service provider. By addressing home safety, by modifying homes to be more senior friendly, and by providing routine maintenance, National House Care helps elderly people enjoy a higher quality of life at home ("Aging-in-Place"). This is the most common residence of their choosing, and it is usually significantly more cost-effective compared to extended care facilities such as assisted living apartments or nursing homes.
