Forney Regional Medical Center Land Acquired

Cirrus Health announced today the land to develop Forney Regional Medical Center has been officially purchased. After being under contract while hospital development plans were being finalized, the first hospital of Forney, Texas now has a secured home.
"Forney Regional Medical Center has the support of the Forney Economic Development Corporation, the City of Forney, area businesses and physicians," stated Ira B. Korman, Ph.D., senior vice president, strategy and operations for Cirrus Health. "This premier, community-orientated facility will create over 150 new jobs and provide high quality healthcare services to Forney and the surrounding area."
Forney Regional Medical Center (FRMC) will be located on 13 acres on the corner of FM Road 548 and the future Rogers Parkway currently under construction, just south of US 80. The 102,000 square foot, multi-specialty hospital, including an obstetric unit with four birthing rooms, will provide a heliport to transport patients who can benefit from care from its advanced tertiary hospital partner. Emergency room services will also be available.
The facility's construction will be overseen by real estate services organization, Dallas-based, The Cirrus Group, LLC.
