HealthTrans Appoints Joe Snow As Vice President of Managed Care Sales

Joe W. Snow has joined HealthTrans, a national pharmacy benefits administrator, as vice president of managed care sales. Snow brings more than 20 years' experience delivering services and software solutions that manage complex transactions and data in the healthcare and financial services industries.
Prior to joining HealthTrans, Snow was director of business development for Mirixa Corporation and led Mirixa's initiatives to bring medication therapy management services to the managed care marketplace. Prior to Mirixa, Snow was area vice president of sales for SXC Health Solutions where he was responsible for sales of the company's suite of software solutions, claims processing services and related professional services to major healthcare organizations. Previously, Snow has held positions with Shared Financial Systems / S2 Systems, Datatrend Financial Systems and J.D. Carreker and Associates. He has bachelor's degree in business and public administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
