STUDENTS in Dudley have turned teacher to educate fellow students about issues such as puberty, relationships and sexual health by becoming qualified peer educators.

Eight health and social care students from Stourbridge College have received training from the Dudley Teenage Pregnancy Partnership.

The two-day training course enables those aged between 16 and 19 to run activity sessions in schools and colleges and pass on their skills and knowledge.

The course looks at different aspects of relationships and sexual health, from understanding what to do in a dilemma, negotiating relationships and resisting the pressure to have sex too early.
