Acappellooza ’08 Aims to Help Children

PORTLAND – The Bates College a cappella group Crosstones will be featured at Acappellooza ’08 tonight when Big Brothers Big Sisters hosts a multigenerational a cappella musical concert at the University of Southern Maine.

Besides the male-female Bates College ensemble, Acappellooza ’08 will feature five other singing groups that have volunteered to help the nonprofit organization raise funds to support kids who need mentors.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. in USM’s Hannaford Hall in the Abromson Center.

The general admission price is $12. Tickets can be purchased at all Bull Moose Music locations, or by calling 773-KIDS. They will also be sold at the door.
