Hospitals, Healthcare Providers to Save With Premier Enterprise Image Management Solutions Agreements

Premier Purchasing Partners, LP, today announced new agreements for enterprise image management solutions have been awarded to Agfa Healthcare Corp. of Greenville, S.C., and DR Systems Inc. of San Diego.
A new Premier category, it expands the previous PACS (picture archiving and communication systems) designation to include cardiology and radiology and includes software, hardware, equipment and services used to integrate, transmit and manage electronic clinical images.
The 36-month agreements, effective January 1, 2008, are available to acute care and continuum of care members of the Premier alliance.
