ValueOptions(R) Introduces New Program Allowing Members to Distinguish High Performing Providers
ValueOptions®, Inc., the nation’s largest independent behavioral health care company, announced today the launch of ValueSelectsm, a program that promotes high-quality clinical practices among providers while supporting members’ health care decisions.
ValueSelectsm providers are in-network providers who have received advanced training in specific areas of clinical specialty. Providers under the ValueSelectsm designation use proven treatment techniques, have consistently positive results on key outcome measures and commit to supporting data collection that further advance the field. These distinguished providers have technological resources and administer a majority of their transactions online using ValueOptions® secure technology.
While the ValueSelectsm program offers several advantages for providers such as the opportunity for increased referrals and discounts on training opportunities, members, in turn, have the ability to play a larger role in their health care. Members can choose a provider best suited for their needs through the ValueOptions® online search engine, ReferralConnect. Here, members can identify ValueSelectsm providers in an easy-to-read format. Members may also provide feedback regarding their treatment experience through a confidential survey.
