ALR Technologies Receives Notice From US Patent Office That Patent Protection Covering Several of Their Products Has Been Allowed

ALR Technologies Inc. (OTC BB: ALRT), headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, announced today it has been notified by the US Patent and Trademark Office that patent protection covering important elements of many of their disease management reminder products has been allowed and will soon issue.
ALR Tech's patent protection includes the easy-to-use feature of one-button programming, which is so important to the elderly or others taking medications for chronic conditions. This feature applies to the 48 hour reminder for use with treatments for multiple sclerosis, the weekly reminder for use with the once-weekly medications for osteoporosis and depression as well as once-a-day or up to 6x-a-day reminders for use with medications for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, glaucoma and others.
ALR Technologies, which specializes in health and disease management products and services, has designed and manufactures medication compliance products and compliance home-monitoring and intervention systems to meet the needs for several targeted user groups.
