Want to Quit Smoking? Hospital Offers 6 Classes
Learn how to quit smoking at Freedom From Smoking classes being offered by Lancaster General.
Classes run from March through May. Cost of the class is $20, but participants who attend 80 percent of the classes and quit smoking will receive a full refund.
Also, participants are eligible for up to $100 in free nicotine replacement therapy while they are enrolled in the program.
The class schedule is as follows:
A 12-session class will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at Lancaster General Hospital on March 3, 10, 17, 19, 24, 26 and 31, and April 7, 14, 17, 21 and 24.
An eight-session class will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wellness Center Room 2, Lancaster General Health Campus, 2100 Harrisburg Pike, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 26 and 31, and April 7 and 14.
An eight-session class will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wellness Center Room 2, Lancaster General Health Campus, 2100 Harrisburg Pike, April 15, 22 and 29, and May 6, 8, 13, 20 and 27.
A 12-session class will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster General Hospital, April 29, May 6, 13, 15, 20, 22 and 27, and June 8, 10, 17, 19 and 24.
A 12-session class will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at Lancaster General Hospital, May 6, 13, 15, 20, 22 and 27, and June 3, 5, 10, 12, 17 and 19.
An eight-session class will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wellness Center Room 2, Lancaster General Health Campus, 2100 Harrisburg Pike, May 19 and 27, and June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16 and 25.
