Indiana-based, The Haelan Group, welcomes business veteran Mark Long to Board and continues high-growth in health care technology arena
The Haelan Group (THG), a provider of predictive modeling software and coaching solutions to reduce health care costs, announced today the quadrupling of its operations personnel and the appointment of an executive chairman to support increasing sales, to further push into the self-funded employer market and to achieve its high-growth strategy.
The Haelan Group has tripled its client base in the last six months, yielding a substantial push on revenue growth. Haelan attributes this growth to the fact that their health management program, One Care Street(TM), has delivered objectively verified, first-year return on investment for two large employer clients.
"Our ability to produce first-year ROI comes at a time when other traditional disease and wellness programs have failed to demonstrate strong outcomes and alter a double-digit healthcare cost trend," said Julie A. Meek, CEO of The Haelan Group.
Mark S. Long is The Haelan Group's new executive chairman, assisting with the development of the company's strategy and growth plans, and leading the board of directors. Mark is currently CEO and president of the Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation, CEO of Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute, and CEO of the Indiana Emerging Technologies Center. He has more than twenty years experience in the life sciences industries.
"Mark is perfectly suited to lead our Board as the company grows and expands in response to a very hot market for our services," added Dr. Meek.
The One Care Street predictive modeling tool and health coaching system is meeting increasing demand in the self-funded employer market. One Care Street identifies high-need health care users ahead of incurred costs, so that Haelan's coaches can help individuals before a health need becomes a health crisis. In addition to a strong return on investment, the One Care Street system reduces employee absenteeism and improves overall employee health.
