Sand Springs Welcomes New Medical Clinic

Mar. 5–A Hillcrest-affiliated medical clinic in Sand Springs opened this month after relocating into a new, upgraded facility.
The Utica Park Clinic-Sand Springs is located at 20 E. 34th St.
Previously, a Utica Park Clinic was located near West 41st Street and Oklahoma 97.
Utica Park Clinic is the physician service group affiliated with Hillcrest Health Care System, and 33 Utica Park locations serve 16 communities throughout Oklahoma, according to information from Hillcrest.
Included are locations in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Owasso and Collinsville. Other such clinics are located in Chandler, Cleveland and Oilton, according to data from Hillcrest.
Sand Springs Mayor Bob Walker said the primary care clinic serves not only residents of Sand Springs but also the surrounding area.
He said the Utica Park Clinic offers care for a wide range of needs while offering a location that’s convenient for anyone in the area.
“It’s like going to your family doctor,” he said.
“It’s aimed at bringing primary care right in your own backyard.”
Dr. Traci Carney, a physician who works at the Sand Springs clinic, said the facility has a lab and X-ray among its offerings.
Carney said the clinic is there to provide for the needs of any age group, from pediatric through geriatric care.
“It really is a family clinic,” she said.
“We’re excited about it and the services we can offer Sand Springs and the surrounding communities.”
Carney said the clinic can take care of a range of needs, from checkups of all sorts to more immediate concerns.
“It’s a wide range,” she said. “We see a whole gamut of illnesses, acute and chronic.”
The new Utica Park Clinic’s hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
