A TOWN centre pharmacy is changing its name after being taken over by a major high-street chain.
The Alliance Pharmacy on Prince Edward Road, Harton Nook, South Shields, is set to be changed into a Your Local Boots Pharmacy from Monday.
Janit Patel, pharmacy development director at Boots, said: “We are looking forward to offering our patients a better environment in which to meet their healthcare needs.”
