Diversity of $107 Million Center Cited

Mar. 7–INDIANAPOLIS — New York-based Turner Construction Co., the nation’s leading general builder, cited Indianapolis on Thursday as one of the locations benefiting from $1.3 billion in contracts awarded nationally for minority- and female-owned businesses.
Turner is working with Clarian Health on the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis. About 27 percent, or $27.78 million, of the $107 million in construction costs went to those interests.
