West Virginia United Health System Selects Zonare’s Ultra Sound System
Zonare Medical Systems, a provider of ultrasound sonography software, has signed an agreement with West Virginia United Health System, for the purchase and installation of 12 z.one ultrasound systems in 2008.
West Virginia United Health System (WVUHS) has already installed seven of the systems in various clinical settings including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, interventional radiology and maternal fetal medicine. The contract extends over the next four years.
According to Zonare, the z.one ultra system is a convertible Ultrasound platform based on proprietary Zone Sonography technology. Clinicians are able to easily convert the z.one system from a full-featured, cart-based system into a compact ultrasound system with no sacrifice to image quality or performance.
Don Southard, president and CEO at Zonare Medical Systems, said: “The agreement to purchase 12 z.one ultrasound systems is proof once again that the premium technology found in our z.one platform, combined with our commitment to enhancing medical care, allows clinics and hospitals worldwide to offer the highest standard in patient diagnosis.”
