Charlie’s-Brand Cantaloupe Recalled
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of Charlie's-brand cut cantaloupe products due to possible contamination.
Charlie's Produce of Spokane, Wash., initiated the recall after the FDA issued an alert regarding cantaloupe supplied by Agropecuaria Montelibano, a Honduran grower and packer. FDA officials said fruit from that company appears to be associated with a Salmonella outbreak in the United States and Canada.
Consumers can return the products for a full refund or can contact the company at 206-625-1412.
