Emergisoft Selected By McLeod Health for Emergency Department Information System Project

Emergisoft Corporation announces that McLeod Health, one of South Carolina's leading health-care providers, has selected the EmergisoftED™ Emergency Department Information Systems (EDIS) for its facilities.
Encompassing a twelve county service area, McLeod Health has served northeast South Carolina for over a century. Emergisoft will begin the project with installation at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina -- supporting over 60,000 emergency department visits per year. A subsequent phase will include the emergency department of McLeod Medical Center, Dillon.
EmergisoftED will be interfaced with Siemens Invision to allow the transfer of real-time patient information and clinical data. The system will also interface with the Sunquest lab system to provide real-time lab results status and alerting.
Emergisoft's emergency department software is a completely Web browser-based solution that automates each step of the patient management and patient documentation process in the ED. The implementation of EmergisoftED at McLeod Health will empower the emergency department to streamline processes, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, enhance patient care, increase patient safety, and allow the health care providers to focus on patient flow.
