Business Health Services Deploys the PDHI ConXus Health Improvement Platform to Deliver LiveWell WorkWell Program
DES MOINES, Iowa, April 2, 2008 /PRNewswire/ — Business Health Services (BHS) has contracted with Protocol Driven Healthcare, Inc. (PDHI) to deploy PDHI’s ConXus health improvement platform to deliver the BHS LiveWell WorkWell program and provide clients with increased service levels.
BHS is a workplace wellness and behavioral risk management provider. The LiveWell WorkWell program from BHS is an integrated combination of workplace wellness, employee assistance program (EAP), and work-life services. BHS wellness solutions include program management, health risk assessments, biometrics screenings, wellness coaches, wellness workshops, online wellness programs, and incentive programs to encourage engagement.
To enhance the LiveWell WorkWell wellness solutions, BHS has deployed the ConXus health improvement platform, which includes the following modules: ConXus Profile health risk assessment (HRA), ConXus Steps online wellness programs, ConXus Rewards for incentive management, and ConXus Direct health coaching tools. BHS supports multiple service levels that can be delivered independently or in combination based on client requirements.

The ConXus Steps module supports online action plans for nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Using ConXus Direct, BHS health coaches can access completed health risk assessments to stratify participants, assign them to an action plan, and track their progress. Depending on the service level and risk level, health coach encounters can be included as a tracked action step.
BHS has real-time access to the aggregate reporting and data management tools to track the health status of clients’ employee populations and to stratify at-risk employees into programs.
