20.9% of Males Suffer From Anemia

According to Al-Khaleej newspaper (April 5, 2008), a recently released official study by Bahrain’s Ministry of Health reveals that 20.9% of the overall male adult population in the Kingdom of Bahrain is suffering from anemia, one of the more common blood disorders, occurs when the level of healthy red blood cells (RBCs) in the body becomes too low.
