Health Net Federal Services and MHN Government Services Receive Recognition As Corporate Sponsors of the 22nd National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic

Health Net Federal Services, LLC (Health Net), the government operations division of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), and MHN Government Services (MHNGS), Health Net, Inc.'s behavioral health division, were honored to receive a recognition plaque from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) as Host and Silver corporate sponsors of the 22nd National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic held in Snowmass Village, Colo., March 30 -- April 4, 2008.
Known as "Miracles on a Mountainside," the annual Winter Sports Clinic is the largest rehabilitation event of its kind in the world, and is open to all U.S. military veterans with severe disabilities who receive care at VA health care facilities. Jointly sponsored by VA and DAV, more than 400 severely disabled veterans from across the country attended the clinic.
Health Net and MHNGS contributions helped to provide transportation, meals and incidental expenses for more than 200 first-time veterans and nearly 30 active duty combat wounded soldiers, and a group of employees attended the clinic to volunteer throughout the event. MHNGS also offered on-site counseling services for veterans and their families.
