Cancer Risk for Inactive Women
March 18, 2005
UPTO one in five Scots women double their risk of bowel cancer because they don’t take exercise, according to a new study.
Cancer Research UK says lifestyle decisions are increasing women’s risks of a range of cancers.
It called on more women to sign up for the Race for Life series of 5K runs and walks to cut their risk of developing the disease.
Research shows that two-thirds of women don’t take the recommended level of exercise.
