ACAM Appoints Jessica Tran, ND As Student Liaison and Head of the ACAM Student Program

The American College for Advancement in Medicine, ACAM, is pleased to announce that Jessica Tran, ND has been appointed as Student Liaison and head of ACAM’s student/resident membership program. Dr. Tran will advise the ACAM Board of Directors with respect to the medical student/resident program, coordinate student/resident conference logistics and serve as point of contact for the next-generation of ACAM Members.

“Dr. Tran’s passion for integrative medicine and her demonstrated ability to effectively represent student/resident concerns within ACAM places her as the ideal candidate for this position and we are very excited to have her,” said Jeanne Drisko, MD, president of ACAM.

Under the leadership of Dr. Drisko, the student/resident program will be expanded to serve the diverse needs of this select group of ACAM Members. Plans call for a new mentor-mentee program, a revised student/resident Web site, preceptorships and an expansion of outreach efforts. Dr. Tran will play an instrumental role in these programs.
