Hospitals and Healthcare Systems to Save With New Premier Agreements for Distribution of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Supplies and Equipment

Premier Purchasing Partners, LP, today announced new agreements for distribution of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and equipment have been awarded to Clark Security Products Inc. of San Diego, Grainger Industrial Supply of Chicago, Graybar Electric Company Inc. of St. Louis, MSC Industrial Direct Co. Inc. of Melville, N.Y., and Wesco Distribution Inc. of Pittsburgh.
The new portfolio combines three previously separately sourced categories: maintenance, repair and operations supplies and equipment; electrical components and accessories; and door hardware and electronic security products.
The effective dates of the 36-month agreements range from May 1, 2008 to June 1, coinciding with expiration dates of incumbent agreements. The agreements are available to both acute-care and continuum-of-care markets.
