May 25–Bourdon appointed VP at Erlanger

Donna Bourdon has become vice president of ambulatory services for Erlanger Health System.

She joined Erlanger in 2007 as vice president of Erlanger Baroness Women’s Services and administrator of T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital. She had served previously as administrator/chief executive officer of HealthSouth Chattanooga Rehabilitation Hospital.

She has B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Tennessee.

Bell receives green designation

Jason E. Bell, a certified plumbing designer at Advanced Energy Engineering & Design Inc., has received the designation of

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional from the United States Green Building Council.

AEED’s offices are located at 408 McCallie Ave.

McCluskey joins Memorial asVP

Lisa McCluskey has joined Memorial Hospital as vice president of marketing and communications.

She comes to the local hospital from Martin Memorial Health Systems in Stuart, Fla.

She has more that 28 years experience in the marketingcommunications fields.

She has an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and a bachelor of arts from Marycrest International University in Iowa.

Whisman appointed top nursing officer

Lynn Whisman has been appointed senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Erlanger Health System.

She joined Erlanger in 2007 as vice president of patient care services. She formerly served as vice president of clinical operations and chief nursing executive at Memorial Health Care System in Chattanooga.

She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky and has an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. She completed the Wharton School of Business Fellowship in Nurse Executive Management at the University of Pennsylvania.

Area residents pass CPA exam

The Tennessee State Board of Accountancy recently announced that 13 Chattanooga area residents have passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant examination.

They are Diane E. Bain and Lindsey G. Houston, of Chattanooga; Cynthia B. Carman and Julie A. Lovingood, of Athens; Eric L. Schnell, of Cleveland; Bradley J. Davis, of Dayton; Sherry D. Longley and Joseph R. Oswald, of Ooltewah; Sammy S. Goble, of Rock Spring, Ga; Julien D. Decosimo and Heather R. Kulisek, of Signal Mountain; and Heather M. McRoy and Deana D. Scoggins, of Soddy-Daisy.

Those passing the exam were inducted as members of the Tennessee Society of CPAs and its Chattanooga chapter.
