A NEW initiative is being launched in Hartlepool to enable people to have their say about health and social care services.

Several events will be held at venues across the town to unveil the new Hartlepool Local Involvement Network (LINK) which will give local people the chance to discuss and improve a range of services.

The first event will focus on well-being and mental health.

It takes place at the Belle Vue Centre, Kendal Road, on Friday, starting at 10am.

Services for older people will be discussed on June 4 at The Hartlepool People Centre at 2pm.

Carers will be the main topic at a session on June 9 at The Grand Hotel, Swainson Street, at 10.30am.

A meeting on physical disabilities will take place on June 20 at the Belle Vue Centre from 10am.

To book your place call (01429) 523873.
