Posted on: Wednesday, 28 May 2008, 12:00 CDT
Emami Group will be introducing a range of baby care products over the next several months, reported The Economic Times. This will mark the company's full-fledged entry into the baby care segment in India.
Previously, Emami introduced the Himani Sona Chandi Healthy & Fair Baby Ayurvedic Massage Oil. This time, the new products will be launched under a different brand name.
The company does not intend to test launch the new products and then go in for a national rollout. Instead, it is planning for a national rollout immediately.
Aditya Agarwal, director of Emami Group, said: "We are looking at launching the baby care range before the festive season. It will be a complete range, from soaps, talc to lotions."
