Information Sought on Injured Man at UMC
University Medical Center is trying to find family members of a man who’s been at the hospital since April 27.
Omar Lazaro-Nanguelu, 33, has been a patient at the hospital since he was injured in an accident near Arizona City, 60 miles south of Phoenix, according to a UMC news release.
He can’t talk because of his injuries, but he had identification that provided his name, birth date and an address in Nezahualcoyotl, near Mexico City. Neither the hospital nor Mexican officials have been able to reach his family, the release says.
Anyone with information may contact UMC Social Services at 694- 6671 or Barbara Felix of UMC International Patient Services at 694- 4412 or, toll-free from Mexico, 1-800-328-5868.
