A Sniff is the Best Medicine
By NAOMI McELROY
APPARENTLY the best way to take medicine is to stick it up your nose.
No, I haven’t gone crazy. Neither have I been sticking any illegal substances up my own personal hooter.
New research claims instead of swallowing tablets we should be grinding them up and sniffing them.
Studies by American scientists prove medicine works faster and lasts longer if it’s taken nasally – up the nose – than if it’s taken orally (that’s swallowed to you and me).
Apparently it can cure Alzheimer’s, autism, depression and even boost women’s sex drive. There’s no side effects or stomach upsets and it even protects your liver.
And hey – that’s not to be sniffed at.
