Banner Granted Approval for Amantadine Softgel Capsules

Banner Pharmacaps has received the FDA approval for its abbreviated new drug application for Amantadine Hydrochloride USP 100mg soft gelatin capsules.
Amantadine is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of signs and symptoms of infection in the respiratory tract caused by various strains of influenza A virus.
Amantadine is also utilized in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions.
