EraGen Announces Appointment of Vader As Vice President, Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs

EraGen Biosciences Inc. today announced the appointment of Randal Vader as vice president, quality, regulatory and clinical affairs.
Mr. Vader brings more than two decades of quality systems, and regulatory and clinical affairs leadership to his new role at EraGen. His experience includes quality system creation, implementation and improvement; clinical study design and execution; and regulatory strategy and compliance, including FDA submissions.
Mr. Vader was most recently lead director of quality and regulatory for Philips Medical Systems' Radiation Oncology Systems business unit. While at Philips, Mr. Vader was responsible for all quality systems and regulatory matters at its facilities in Madison, Wis.; Milpitas, Calif.; and Cleveland.
Prior to joining Philips, Mr. Vader led the quality, regulatory and clinical affairs function at Inovise Medical Inc., a cardiac diagnostic device company. He joined Inovise after serving as an associate director for regulatory affairs and quality systems at Focus Diagnostics Inc., which was subsequently purchased by Quest Diagnostics. Mr. Vader also has held management positions in quality, regulatory and clinical affairs at VIA Medical, Quidel Corp. and Sulzer Medica.

Mr. Vader earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from San Diego State University.
