Jun. 13–The following is a calendar for outdoors recreational events in and around southern Wisconsin as of June 12, 2008. Please note that readers are advised to contact clubs and organizations, especially in the event of inclement weather, to check the status of each listing.

June 13: Drive For The Cure boat driving clinic by women for women. 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Law Park in Madison. Sponsored by Redline Watersports and the Madison Affiliate for Susan G. June 13: National kickoff of “Outdoors Without Limits,” described as a community-based non-profit program to provide life changing outdoor experiences, such as kayaking, biking, hunting, fishing and other recreation for adults and children with disabilities. Includes start of a local Badger Chapter. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and program to follow at 7 p.m. Monona Terrace in Madison. $100. Numerous special guests. Guest speakers to include football coach Bill Yoast, portrayed in “Remember the Titans,” sit-skiier Mark Wellman and Jean Driscoll, an eight-time wheelchair race champion at the Boston Marathon. June 15: Father’s Day sporting clays shoot. 8 a.m. to noon. Delton Sportsman’s Club. Kids under 16 shoot free when with a paying adult. June 19: Utah Wilderness and the Red Rock Wilderness Act with Madison’s Brad O’Grosky. 6 p.m. Power point presentation with photos taken from several archaeological projects in Utah and Arizona. June 28: Seminar Saturday at Heckel’s Marina, 1120 West Main St. in Sun Prairie. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Focus is on panfishing.
